Eisenhower State Park

The perfect place for sitting back and getting away from the bustling cities, Eisenhower State Park is comprised of 1,785 acres featuring 1,000 acres of tall grass prairie, 440 acres of woodland and recreational facilities. If camping in a tent isn't your thing, then Eisenhower State Park also provides 126 water/electric hookups for rv's. There's a good chance while staying there you may spot one of the many animals that call this park home including white-tailed deer, eastern wild turkeys, bobwhite quails, squirrels, furbearers, and waterfowls.

C2T Ranch and Campground

Considered by many as a hidden gem, this ranch is surrounded by the Saline River and is boardered by 150ft tall limestone cliffs and outcroppings. Located 14 miles north of Hays Kansas and consisting of over 2,480 acres, this sprawling ranch is full of rugged canyons and sprawing meadows making it look like it should belong in Wyoming let alone in the middle of Kansas. While this is a fabulous campsite, it is also the location of The Battle of the Saline River between railroad workers and the Cheyenne Indians. While the battle was fought over 100 years ago, you can still find artifacts from that time period making this campsite great for campers and adventurers alike!

Cedar Bluff State Park & Reservoir

Containing 96 utility campsites makes this park more than capable of handling anyones camping needs and it also contains some unique activities not found in many other places including a BMX track. Ceder Bluff is known to be a great fishing spot and there are covered handicape accessible fishing docks as well. While some enjoy the full fledged camping experience of tents, Ceder Bluff also provides five modern rental cabins to meet everyones needs. Facilites for campers include Showerhouses, dumpstations, two community shelters, and boatramp facilities. If fishing isn't you thing, maybe try out one of the many other activities including sand vollyball, horseshoes, shore side basketball, or swimming.
